Jelly Bean for Asus Transformer Infinity, But Beware

 Since the release of Jelly Bean for the Asus Transformer TF300, I have constantly hit my “check for updates” button on my Transformer Pad Infinity. I’m dying to have a go at JB, and some of the great features.

If you’re gutsy enough though, you can try installing Android 4.1 on your TF700T before anyone else. The folks at XDA Developers have this blurb on getting it done.

To me, it looks like a lot of messing with components and elements not to mess with, at least not yet, and potentially disables a lot of features.

Therefore, you should only try this if:

1. You’re savvy with tinkering around in your Android OS;
2. Okay with screwing up your Android device;
3. Okay with losing some compatibility
4. Not going to blame me.
